Wealth management is all about
making the best possible choices with the money you have at your disposal.
Unfortunately, with the economy in crisis, most people don’t have enough money
to even have choices about what they do with that money. There is some hope,
however, that this could be changing for the better. The Mergis Group recently
released a survey in which it asked US finance and accounting employees,
including employees who work in wealth management, about how they felt the
economy was faring. According to this report, confidence in the United State’s
economy and in its ability to get stronger has surged during the second quarter
of the year, increasing by almost ten points. The results are better than any
results from similar surveys since the recession started.
173 finance and accounting employees were questioned in the
survey. Of those employees, 42% expressed a belief that the economy was getting
better, not worse. Plus, the number of employees who felt that the economy was
getting worse dropped. In the first quarter, 32% of employees surveyed said
they thought the economy was getting worse, while in this second quarter, only
16% expressed that belief. Furthermore,
80% of survey participants expressed feelings of job security and 31% said they
had seen an increase in the number of jobs available.
If the results of the survey prove true, many Naperville
residents may soon be in a position to start making choices with their money.
